CR2032 2032 Battery 2Pin 2 WIRE CABLE Plug, for Laptop Motherboard BIOS CMOS

I used it to replace an OEM HP battery for a HP t620 Thin Plus. If the plug isn't compatible, take the wires off the old battery (the entire length and the plate that is soldered to the old battery, it will tear off) and insert it below the yellow plastic in the new battery. Works and fits fine in an Msi AIO PC, however the polarity was wrong. Easy enough to depin the connector and swap them around. After installing into laptop it booted up fine and Date/Time have stuck.
I am very pleased with the outcome as I can now use the laptop again for older non compatible win 11 programs. After installing into laptop it booted up fine and Date/Time have stuck.

The battery was flat on arrival, did not discover this till too late and had no time to return or resolve so I just wore the problem.

Used it to swap out a dead battery in an HP laptop. The pins didn't match, nor were they the same size so I couldn't transplant the old pins, so I just stripped the wire and taped them together.
Pretty rough fix but given the device doesn't travel and I wasn't motivated to get out the soldering iron, it did the job. Used it to swap out a dead battery in an HP laptop. Some desktop motherboard makers like Gigabyte, instead of making the battery easily replaceable (as a desktop can be off power for hours per day), unfortunately copy laptop design (where it is unlikely need replacing due to the primary battery) where the fully plastic-enclosed battery is glued onto back of something like a USB port and connected to the motherboard with a wire connector. Regular price is somewhat expensive seeing as you can purchase a packet of 10 from China for less. I consider it is overpriced.

It should, however, do the job in question, i.e. powering the motherboard basic memory and basic BIOS type functions.
