While being slightly more complicated than Arduino, the Pico really is unbeatable at such a high performance and low price.
You will need to solder your own headers, but the design makes this super easy.
I highly recommend that advanced users at least two for any project as you can use one pico to step-through debug the others using picoprobe. While being slightly more complicated than Arduino, the Pico really is unbeatable at such a high performance and low price.
