A must buy

This charger is a "smart" charger and will automatically detect whether you have inserted a Li-Ion battery (like an 18650) or a Ni-MH battery (like an Eneloop) and change settings to safely charge the battery.

It can charge at either 0.5A (slower but better for the battery) or 1.0A (faster but harder on the battery) from any USB power source.

I brought this to upgrade from a Panasonic Eneloop dumb charger and Nitecore Li-Ion charger combo and am more than happy with my purchase.

Works great and gives plenty of information

This is a good flexible charging unit for all sorts of cells. It gives plenty of information (cell voltage, charging current, charging time, approximate SoC by way of a bar system).
